Nitrominds of Brasil

When the Adolescents went to Brasil in 2010, we befriended Andres who helped us navigate in the cities and helped us on behalf of the promoter of our shows there. He shared his music with us- he plays guitar in a couple of bands there. One of them is a band called Nitrominds. They have just released an album called "Looking for a Hero." I wrote the lyrics for two of the songs on the album- "Breathe in Spiderbaby" and "The Ramona Covenant." They have uploaded a video for "The Ramona Covenant."

The lyris to the song are below. I am flattered that they aked me for lyrics and that they not only used them, but did so in such a powerful way.

THE RAMONA COVENANT
When you're born, they stifle your cries.
Indoctrination, they feed you their lies.
On the free market you're bought and sold.
Just shut your mouth and do what you're told.
why?

Then they feed you until you  can't take any more
From a trough, like slop on the floor.
And you'll thank them for all that they do,
And you'll thank them for the hell they put you through
why?

March in time- face the front

When you ask them they don't want to talk
They hand you a paycheck and you punch the clock
On the free market you're bought and sold
On the free market the lies unfold
the lies!

March in time- face the front

It's a covenant and you have one choice.
Covenant- sign it!
Covenant- sign it!
Covenant- sign it!
Covenant- sign it!

The lies!!!!
